"Parasitic Diseases between Past and Present"
in the 2nd International Conference
of Multidisciplinary Medicine in T.U.
Prof. Abdel Hakim Abdel Khalik khalil- President of Tanta University- has confirmed that interest in man's body as an integrated unit, for which all medical efforts, specialties and alternatives should be united, forms a new philosophy in the medical system which should be taken into consideration.
It comes in the opening session of the 30th annual conference held in Tanta Faculty of Medicine, entitled "Era of Multidisciplinary Medicine" to discuss the parasitic diseases between the past and the present.
The conference was held under the presidency of Prof. Amgad Abdul Raaof- Dean of Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Ibrahim Abdul Wahab Salem- vice-President of Tanta University for Graduate Studies and Researches, Prof, Mohsen Makshat- vice-President of Tanta University for Education and Students Affairs and Prof. Magdy El-Hefnawy who praises the big medical shift achieved by the inauguration of Tanta University New Global Educational Hospital asking staff members and physicians to develop and keep the global level of the new hospital, and expressing his happiness with the huge financial, technical and human possibilities enabling the hospital to conduct the big surgeries in fields of liver and kidneys for the 1st time in El-Gharbya Governorate.
Prof. Abdul Raaof expresses his trust that the beginning of the work in the new hospital will positively affect the administrative and medical systems in Tanta University current hospital.
The conference includes more than 20 foreign experts from USA, Canada, Belgium, Uk, Netherlands, Pakistan and KSA.
At the end of the opening session, T.U. president, vice-presidents have honored many distinguished professors in medicine; such as, Dr. Fouad Haras, Professor of Cardiology and Dr. Shawqy El-Abd, Professor of Urology.
